Breaking a GTi 4x4 in the near future. Expect all parts to be available except gear and transfer box. Engine (not exclusive to 4x4) was running fine. Solid state ie without distributor. Register your interest.

No! It's another 4x4 I bought to save the black one. The splines on the black one have gone and I'm assured that the splines on the scrapper are good.

How's the interior? I could do with one complete, possibly plus dash and all the door trims too... I'd come and take it all apart of course.

could do with the passenger side c pillar trim in black, (without speaker hole) though intact if possible.

GTis had rear speakers as standard Chris, sorry mate. Or buy the two and fit both.

Could be. We're due to take the engine and gearbox out next week. meanwhile the engine can be seen running.

Had a call from Brian today, this white GTi 4x4 shell needs to be moved, its minus engine and box etc, ignition switch and rear bumper and is running on steelies. If anyone wants this car FREE its in a garage in stroud.

please contact Brian on 01453756340, he not very well atm so not using his PC.

I understand there is some rust at the rear of the car but the interior the body panels are very good.

Sunday May 17th. Thank you everybody for your kind wishes. I have been laid low with a form of sciatica preventing physical effort of most types (no change there says my wife), but I am visiting a bone cruncher tomorrow who cured me last time so wish me luck. Equally important our computer crashed and I've only just got it back after parting with £100. And finally, the garagiste at whose premises the 4x4 is residing has been given notice by his landlord to clear the area so the knackers lorry is due any minute.
Yes there is still a good interior which includes the various pillar panels.
There is an engine (non-distributor ie later type) which was running fine until hoiked out last week.
If any of you still need anything, I think you have to come down to Stroud in the early part of this week and get it. The engine is out of the car so it's not going to get taken away. I have removed and kept the ECU from under the driver's seat. Phone or PM me first for everything.
