Unlike to sell at the price with such a short MOT.

A full MOT would make all the difference :)

Been watching it on ebay for a couple of days, £600 a bit steep I think.

Luckily its near Glasgow so out of my reach

Given that it comes with its LPG system intact and working, I'd say that's a fair bargain.

Whs.

Half price fuel and daily use will see it paying for itself in no time. My American pick-up runs on LPG and at circa 52p per litre it's bloody great.

This BX is achieving the equivelant of about 68mpg, that's better than most BX diesel owners achieve.

I'd say that was a really good deal, surely it would cost more than that just for the lpg system not including having it fitted. Lets hope it doesnt get bought by someone just for that purpose though.

Good luck with the sale Graeme.

Good Mk1 BXs are so rare nowadays and Graemes must be one of the nicest real early ones left, £600 is top money but its a top car. I hope you dont sell it for obvious reasons but its understandble why you must. I only know of 2 other A plated cars

Thanks guys - it's a very good car mechanically but the near side doors have blemishes - my next chapter of overhaul was to replace the doors.

The LPG is the only thing bringing it £600 - even at that, I'm still losing money!

It's only desperation that has left me to this anyway - if it doesn't sell (likely) then it is at least in a relatively safe location for the coming months.

If you fancied removing the LPG kit and selling it seperately, I'd be interested.

- that's a possible. but I'm not able to carry out any work on the car at present. Removing the equipment will take about a day to do properly.

But why would you want a BX 16 running on bog standard liquid grot? it really does run better on gas and cheaper.
