BX bits 'n' bobs

Post by Mark Dunmore »

Friend of mine in 2CVGB has emailed today asking if anyone is interested in buying a few spares from his Athena, which was written off last year :(

He sent me a picture, and there are most notably:-

A set of genuine workshop manuals (four purple binders) plus a Haynes

Fitting times booklet (the orange one), plus some for CX, Visa and LNA!

Headlamp protectors (full wrap-round Mk 2)

Couple of wiper blades and two auxiliary belts (look like alt and pump for a 1.6 petrol)

Three TG-spec tyre valve covers

A jack (woo hoo! ) and a boot carpet?

Anyone interested in making the guy an offer?

Maybe not a boot carpet; it just looks like that's what he's put the other things on to take the picture!

Also, set of Athena boot badges and a late-model owner's handbook.

Hi Mark.

I'd happily give 20 quid for the purple manuals, but suspect he may get more on ebay.

where are the manuals located? and what are the revision numbers (on the spine towards the bottom)? I'd be interested depending on revision number. I'd also be interested in the fitting times document.
