Cyril up on the 'bay classified ad. £750 open to offers, tax, tested and LPG'd - ready to roll.

Anyone on here interested? Would be nice to keep it 'in the gang'?

if i was on your shores i would shorely take a run up to see you and have a good look at this one. It sounds great. Sorry i didn't have more time at the National to chat, i was a bit stressed trying find out as much as i could about XMs before buying one. I'm rarely in the UK so had to make the most of it! I did in the end .. and i'm very happy with. I must get round to posting some pics. I can't quite bring myself to let go of the TZD estate yet though, although i don't have room for it, so it will probably have to go. I don't want any old mucker buying it tho.

oh if i had a very large barn and room for well maybe 5 Citroens. 3 cars are testing the limit of our drive at the moment.

Good luck with the sale. I know you've invested alot of time in this car. I hope it goes to a good home.

Thanks mate, ideally I'd keep it but needs must.

Anyway, it might not sell at all so then I'm stuck with it!

Oh Graeme! You would want until I'd bought a BX!

I adore this car, but too many outgoings at the moment to consider it.

Gah, I think I'm going to be watching the funds very closely, but I can't realistically buy a car before the BXagon, as I'm not sure what that'll chew up in terms of funds yet... (though 45mpg on the first tank of fuel, including towing, suggests that fuel bills may not be horrendous!)

Should be able to do the whole BXagon thing for £275's worth of diesel then. Not too bad.

I agree, not a good time for this Mk.1 to come up - considering all the TLC and sheer brilliance that's gone into making it a fine BX it would be potentially a great everyday car for someone on a budget (who isn't?)...

Shame.. damn fine looking car that one, and indeed, if you're after a Mk1, this must be the one to have.
Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!

Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...

Thanks dudes, I'm surprised how many offers I've already had - it's been just over a day.

It might actually go this time..

Worth every penny you're asking for, i suspect that people might be after it for the lpg kit only, which i hope isnt the case.

LPG is easily found & cheap in France, so the BXagon in a mk1 on a budget is very possible.

You might want LPG in the listing title? Could attract more interest?

Yes, provisionally. That was quick wasn't it? I don't think it's just for the LPG stuff as the car is sold for more than a kit would cost anyway.

I'd be pretty unhappy if this was the case - the next worst thing to selling a car and then find out it was banger raced
