Can't believe nobody will take it on. I would if had the room but with 9 BX's already there's no chance. Imagine me having 2 4x4's - that's pure madness

Someone needs this car in their life - it always looked sooooo good in the pics that Simran took and still looks nice now!

Anybody? Do the BX world a favour!

I agree - why isn't this one being snapped up?

I guess I have an excuse as to why I couldn't though, so who am I to say that?!

A shame to lose this one though.

Ed,

I've just text you about your car.

If the car is still available and if you get my message either tonight or tomorrow morning, give me a missed call or something and I'll call you back to discuss.

Ta,

Oh dear so looks likely the leather will come out and the rest may end up on the scrap head. Shame.

Surely a man who has 9 BX's can have 10 and not really notice the difference :D

:D I was refering to jayboy.. but I think the same applies to 5 or 6.

i don't think my girlfriend would let me have that many BX's.. she does wonder why I'm keeping one that I don't even drive.

Not been saved yet.
I really don't want to scrap it and ideally, I wouldn't get rid of it. I didn't have the money to fix it and I especially don't now a ride this weekend revealed the head gasket on my bike has gone.
It really has to go though

Unfortunately 'Jayboy' went offtop:c with this post:-
Jayboy wrote:Chris,

you're not seriously considering breaking the 4x4 for parts are you. That would be a real shame
Which was then followed up with :-
christhelion wrote:no interest in it.. I can't afford to have it sitting here. Have no car at the moment, just a sportsbike that I didn't want to take into winter really coz it's already looking a bit tatty. I need a car but can't afford one unless the BX goes. It's a shame I know.. I bought it in a dreamy "this is the car for me!" state.. and I loved every moment it was on the road (Jan to March I think). It has to go
So your correct Oilman (I suggest "christhelion" to place a new post if he selling or breaking the 4x4) !

So back O/T has the BX GTI (With the vandalized windscreen) definitely been claimed yet ?
As it was posted 'up for grabs' then suggestions state its been sold maybe just for the leather interior etc. etc. ?

ON TOPIC WARNING :!:

The car / parts have been sold: when Ed Reeves told me that the car was unavailable, he told me that he'd got £100 but not whether that was for the complete car to be taken away or just for parts.

£100 for the leather interior is fair money but could be classed as cheap IMO if it was in good condition bearing the low mileage on the car of 57K.

£100 for the complete car is a steal and although I'd like to hope that it will be saved, I'd say that Tim is correct with the rest of the car being scrapped.

I may be proved wrong and the new owner will make himself known and I'd be very supprised if Ed Reeves came back on this site as he was a first time poster with a car to sell.

Lets hope it was bought as project and not for spares but with needing a screen, exhaust etc I cant see many people wanting to take it on as a resto.
