For sale: Leather interior (Maybe)

Post by Matt H »

Hello all,

After finally finding what I consider a worthy 16v interior for my car, I will shortly be removing the leather...

All in great condition with no rips, tears, split seams or marks. Comes with Rear headrests and full set of doorcards. Although I will need to keep the seat belt buckles and armrests/door-pulls.

Collection from Northamptonshire, or I can deliver for what it costs me in fuel :)

Makes any BX look rather special inside 8)

£150

(Or will consider a swap for something of interest ;))

Cheers,
Matt

Yeah... I love the leather, but I think it takes away some of the character of the original '80s design.

Had my car been the Black Phase 2 I really want, I probably would have had the 'real' 16v seats done in leather, but ya know...

That looks like a bargain to me. I don't think I've seen a leather interior in such a good state.

Fancy a trip to S.Germany? You can give the valver a bit of 'what for' on the autobahns. Problem is, you wouldn't have any seats on the way back - could either stand up or I've got some antique Mk.1 seatage! You only need one and the rest could be ballasted with crates of good German beer! Just a thought Matt..
If I was closer I'd be there with a fistfull of €€€s! :D

Basically meant that i wanted them, so to jump up with 'put me down for this' comes accross as a bit rude maybe? i dunno Obviously Cash is king and MikeP is offereing cash, but to be honest Im offering snap-on tools of a value way in excess of the cash price asked.

So yeah, nose out of joint etc

I'd probably agree with your comments stinkwheel tbh.

I remember getting told off for supposedly barging in on some model ds's that came up a few years ago which were offered on the forum, i found all of that quite funny, so no surprise to me on rarer items.

Hopefully you've pm'd the seller with a serious offer so that youre 1st in line & if that falls through, then fair enough the next interested party can have bite of the cherry.

The above of course is none of my business, but then again i personally get a bit annoyed if someone had done the above to me.

Infact, i was due to purchase a bx this year, but then found out it had been advertised on e-bay & went for more money than i was offered it at, needless to say i was a bit narked at that. In retrospect, it might not have been such a great car anyway's, so perhaps the seller did me a favour by not be upfront with me about selling said beast, i could be waist deep in lhm by now

To be fare I would not have taken this as a definate offer but more as an option if a money offer didn't come forward and Mike has stated that he had already replied on the 16v forum where it was also placed.
