Post by Alastair »

Looking for two front foglight surrounds for my 1989 BX ....I have the lights its a 1.9 DTR (think they are all the same)....They are best described as black boxes that the foglight mount to in the bumper.......Any one got two?

I have a non-foglight front on the car I just bought - do I just need a pair of these surrounds and a hacksaw, or is it more involved?

Here's my car:

Thanks, Ray

To fit them its a case of cutting the slats out and fitting the fog lamps and surrounds and wiring them up. I would wait until you get the car first Ray, cant remember if the front bumper was serviceable. The rear one was damaged so was replaced.
Lots of Motors, mostly semi broken....

I'll definitely wait until I get the car - but was just wondering if I should be on the lookout for a bumper if it definitely needed replacing IYSWIM.

Thanks for the advice though - I am totally new to BXs, so all help is very welcome :)
