Possibly, all hydopneumatic Citroen's use green LHM fluid which is mineral based, DOT fluid is not, and may attack the seals.
It could make the seals either soft and expand, or hard and brittle.
The way to find out is split the caliper and inspect the two "O" rings, the small one between the two halves, and the large one on the piston.
What problem are you having with the rear calipers?.
If you use LHM fluid, then all the other seals in the braking system will require changing, and I doubt if you will be able to source them.
Impressive car by the way.

Liking it a lot! I remember the first I went to watch, I was walking across the field to the strip and the loudest engine I had ever heard fired up. And then it revved up! Beautiful.
Is yours running on standard pump fuel or methanol?
I wouldn't necessarily be worried about the seals, I've heard (indirectly through magazines/internet) of quite a few people apparently using BX front callipers on the rear axle (as they have an integral handbrake mechanism) of cars with a standard braking system. Perhaps dunk an LHM seal in some standard brake fluid and look out for any deterioration?
