Wanted!

I am currently in the somewhat unusual position of being in possession of some cash and not being in possession of a Citroen (perhaps there is a message there). Somehow, I've managed to go from having an AX, a BX and a CX at the same time, to nothing with a double chevron.

I have missed out on a few very tasty looking BXs over the last couple of months and, as things stand, I would like to purchase something that is of a high quality to fill the void. I don't have the skill or desire to really get among the oily bits and bodywork repair is way beyond me - I am good at washing and polishing though!

I am interested in either a turbo diesel or GTI. Condition is the over-riding factor for me. I am in the north-east of England but would be prepared to travel some distance for the right motor.

Yes, I'd spotted that one and I called the owner on Saturday, but he had promised someone else not to let it go before this chap had been to see it on Monday. I shall try again on Monday night.
