WTD - seat belt buckle

Post by Dollywobbler »

It's nice to want so little, but does anyone have a spare rear seat belt buckle? It's for the centre lap belt if that makes a difference. The one I've got has obviously got smashed by some clumsy so and so when putting the rear seat back into place. Hoping the MoT man will let me off with an advisory as it does still work...

While I'm on, it's probably about time I sought a driver's seat (grey tweed) that doesn't have a cracked back cover and gaffer tape holding the material together...

Hi,

I have a box full of BX seat belts.
You are the 1st person to need one, ever.

I would get both belt halves in case there are differences in the buckle.

Hi,

Yes, I have hooked out a matching lap belt pair that works nicely.

Are you likely to be passing through darkest Bucks? or can it wait till the meeting at Gaydon, or I hope to get to that Prescott French Car Hill climb thing.

Thanks Mike. I am hoping to be at La Vie en Bleu at Prescott, but on the Sunday morning, I'm also dropping my wife at Heathrow (after a day in Birmingham - good job it's a three day weekend!).

Got an advisory on the MoT as expected and as I'm carrying folk around in the car later in the year, it'll be nice to have a proper belt in place.

Cheers

If you are travelling between Brummy and Heathrow, you will go within 4 miles of my house. Less if you take the scenic route. So it would make sense to pick it up then.

If we are out, I can leave it behind the wheelie bin etc.

pm me and we will make a plan.

cheers,

Mike

Sorted now Mike. Valver interior includes seatbelts rather conveniently!
