For sale BX 16V in red

Post by lewismunro »

Hi,

BX 16v red 1992 for grab in Edinburgh
118000 miles
mot to 04/11
tax to 10/10
lots of history
New radiator, timing belt done 98000 miles, fuel lines and more
the interior is like new!
The red paint is still ok not orange or pink!

When starting the car, idles @ 20000 rpm for about 10/15mns then back to normal. I'm told the idling valve/sensor needs a clean?

Very nice and rare car, drives like a dream!

more info call me on 07967557960

few pictures on:

Thanks

I would be surprised if it lasted that long, at that RPM

2,000rpm isn't too bad but I'd be a bit worried about over-revving it befor e the engine is warm.

Can't see a price for this car by the way?

Mine does that. It's a total PITA trying to do slow manoeuvres (especially reverse) in an auto that's revving that fast - foot on brake, into gear, then either stall or jump about. Thankfully the revs settle to 900 ish after a little while, and all's much better. It's obviously the auto-choke, but not sure what to do about it - a spraying with WD40 didn't do anything.
