I've just been quoted £660 to insure Swampy for a year....anyone need a red TZD hatch?
Shabby exterior, good internals. New alternator, re-con radiator, new rear arm bearings, new heater matrix, speedlines.....
Oh god.....

The plus side is you can apply all of your luv to the other one!
Why is your insurance so dear? That's a lot of money indeed...

All the NCB has gone on Groliffe, and Lena rear-ended a Merc van last year.

Dunno. Don't want to think about it. You decide. Sorned but still has MoT.

Well, if it's SORN'd does it need to be insured at the moment?

Nope. You don't need insurance if the car is declared SORN.

Well let us have some pics and full details then Oscar - if we chat about value on the forum hopefully it'll be seen by someone who wants to re-home Swampy and makes you an offer you'll reluctantly accept ?

I could be interested Oscar: it'd make an interesting possibility for the Citroën Classic Challenge. And I'd have enough time to get it well and truly sorted...

My TZD is insured on a classic policy as my other car is insured using my no claims.
Cost less than a 1/3 of what you were quoted including breakdown cover etc...

Actually I don't really want you to sell this BX. So I'm ducking out. But really is there no alternative? You'd find it hard to replace...

Is it rusty?
Is it still for sale?
My mate needs a replacement BX in 6 days.
His BX has ace running units, but the bosy is so rotten it's beyond it. Even I've given up with it.
Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!
Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...

that's it Phil. I remember Matching Green well, it was a good day apart from Lena being sick and pregnant at home and Swampy's alternator failing.
I really don't want to sell it......someone put me out of my misery.....
