BX 19 TXD with major issues - Offers?

Post by GaianB »

Am parting with my 1993 BX after it decided to dump all its LHM when i last sold it on Ebay.

Also has a blown exhaust - not investigated where.

Loads of blurb about the ticking noise when it last went up for sale - still no full investigation. Some say big problem, others say only noise cos of angled piston scraping. Me - no idea!

Would have loved to swap the good body parts to my other older BX, but not compatible! So, if anyone wishes to have it and can take it away - make me an offer!

Will allow it to run till end October then the highest offer gets it! Loads of photos available but is not the bodywork that is the issue.

Will find earlier stuff in the BX Spotting forum - not sure if the ebay stuff will still be useable

If I remember correctly yours had a very nice interior?

If the wheels are alloys, would you be interested in selling them?

So sorry - mine was a working car for so many years, never bought any expensive bits for it!

UPDATE for K468 GPU

Not surprised that no-one is interested - sad that it has come to this.

I don;t think anyone will mind if i get rid of it sooner than the end of the month - so will arrange to 'sell' it elsewhere from now - 16th October - instead of having it sit there till the 30th.

May even try to remove the diesel, as the car is nearly full.

Thanks to all
