analogue clock wanted ..swop for rev counter?

Does anyone have a spare analogue clock, the type that sits in the instrument cluster where the rev counter goes on more upmarket models? - Mine has stopped and there is nothing obvious to repair. Let me know please - i now have a spare rev counter to swop if that helps. steve

Have you checked the gearbox end of the rev counter workings, this is where the fault often lies, either in broken wires or on the sensor lurking down there.

If you dont have any luck I will have a look to see if I have any BX anolgue clocks when im back in the uk next week
