Estate tailgate struts - anyone got a source?

Buy or sell parts etc. Please put 'Wanted' in the title if it is a request for parts.

Estate tailgate struts - anyone got a source?

Post by KevR »

Or a reference to something from another model that will fit (preferably something a bit more robust). Mine are definitely on the way out and it's only a matter of time before the tailgate clouts me on the head.

In the current climate I wouldn't hold them to next day delivery though.

They also do a walk in re-gas service of your own struts if you live loacally, Mathew?

That's great - thanks. I like the fact they can re-gas them to be a bit stiffer, too. I've got a couple of spares, and I'm occasionally not too far from Derby, so it's got to be worth a go.

I bought mine from a place in Strasbourg - €11 each.

'Berthold Marx & Cie S.A'

Tel : 03 88 40 31 61

I think they only sell struts. They do mail order.
