What sort of urgency is there? Theoretically there's one available here.
Here, unfortunately is a field in Southern Germany where lies a breaker BX GTI which I am slowly picking clean. The engine is almost complete with its manifold still. Let us know how you get on with domestic enquiries - see what turns up - then PM me if you're stuck. I won't be able to remove it for at least a week then there's the question of postage..

Hello Chris, I will be visiting the GTI wreck tomorrow - earlier than expected - to remove the rear subframe. The owner of the car and field is worried about 'the environment police' busting him for having a wreck mouldering so close to a river, so he wants rid of it ( along with an almost complete ZX Volcane ).
I will hopefully remove the inlet manifold anyway as long as the expected rain isn't too bad. Will let you know..
Todd

Is this sorted now then? I couldn't remove the one here yesterday owing to inclement weather and now it's unlikely I'll get another chance. I think postage would have been prohibitive anyway - only if you were really stuck would it have been economic.
Let us know how you get on Chris and also perhaps something about your BXing activities?
