He has reversed into me now !

Post by Jaba »

Or there are other careless motorists about.

My estate has suffered minor bumper trim damage from another phantom BX bender. Not as bad as last year though when it was the front wing.

Does anyone have the ability to look up the price/availability of the RHS rear bumper trim , part no. 95 619 723
It is black, vaguely D profiled and clips into the bumper.

Or does anyone have a decent one for sale ??

TIA

Sorry to hear that. I didn't even realise that you had an estate. Unfortunately that is no longer available - NFP ( not f'ing possible) on Service Citroen.

I might have one John - I will have to look at the various bumpers that I have 'inherited' to see if the trim is intact.

I don't know where you looked Malcolm but everything re rear BX bumper is NFP, apart from some self-tap screws and caged nuts! I don't know how to link to the diagram on Service Citroen but I'm looking on the English version right now. Is/was quite expensive for what it is!

I just went down the barn in the pouring rain to give Pelops a walk and inspect the bumper selection. Two of the three estate rear bumpers I've got aren't even drilled for these trims - that seems to be the only difference between the Mk.1 and 2 estate bumpers.
The third is and has still got the trims intact and - as far as I could see in the half light - in good condition. They're yours if you want them John - you can take the whole set if you want - left, right and middle - to be prepared against future dings. Send me a PM if you're interested..

Here they are on a Mk.2 Estate

And my 'naked' Mk.1 Break/Estate

The yellow one is a cheerful color. Does it attract insects in the summer !?

if you open the old catalouge (bottom opttion in the free section)

then click on any modle but as we are talking BX that is the obvious choice, although it make no diference at this stage,

this gives three diferent options, select the sear option above the right box, this gives you a box to enter a part No. which i enterd the No. posted in this thread,

this give you something like search all famillies, click on that then the OK,
now scroll down and click were it says rear bumper,

now double click the part No. in the right hand collumb then click the basket and click back once, then basket for a second time,

this give price and part No.
