I'd buy that if it was £200 I think its a bit over priced for the age I sold my 92 Meteor for less last year, running a 2001 Xantia HDI now that I bought needing a bit of work for only £205, wouldn't mind the BX as a second car, I'm only about 20 miles from Litle Birch. Gibbo.

Your joking right?

Any diesel car with 12 months MOT is worth the asking price in my opinion. £200 is just over scrap price so I doubt that will buy you much plus age isnt much of a factor really as they are all old now.

Ive told him to stick it on ebay and hopefully will get a good price and maybe more than hes asking.

I agree, the days of viable, tested Diesel BXs for only £200 has gone it seems. I was tempted by one for £275 (that red TZD), so you could ask about that....?

It's still an old heap Roverman that'll need constant attention to the rust bug, I wasn't joking just making a genuine offer of what it's worth to me, real enthusiasts may pay more. :) Gibbo.

I doubt the current seller who has owned it for a long time and spent many hours keeping it rude health.

Anyone else interested?

its just my two penneth but i think its unrealistic to buy a fair car with mot and a sound chance of passing the next one for less than 500 quid these days.any basket case is worth 200 over the bridge. there are less and less usable examples of good realistic old cars out there.the scrappage scheme saw to that. i paid 500 ish for a car which had stood for 18 years and has cost thousands to get back to a running condition-not show car-my bx was not cheap but is reliable and more importantly usable daily. the days of bangers for peanuts are gone i think. just my two penneth feel free to scoff mock or delete...................or agree!!
