Ken, why don't you book the car in for an mot near to where you live & just kinda not turn up :wink: If you get stopped, plod can check the mot station & they'll confirm that its booked in to be done.

I did mention early on that the drive shaft is utterly knackered so driving was never an option with or without legal implications.

The scrappy is going to sell me back the Speedlines for a tenner :)

And point out to the scrappy that you're doing them a favour by them not having to dispose of the tyres. Last time I took a car in they were charging £5 a wheel to dispose of them if you left 'em on the car!

That explains why I had to have the spare back too.

Anyway, it is gone and actually ran out of diesel as it was driven onto the back of the truck haha

I was gutted that I scrapped it with 199873 miles on the clock. Still, it'll make a nice bit of tat in china that we'll clamour to buy off them.

I got the Speedlines, minus the bloody wheel bolts :cry: I asked my scrappy-mate to bring them back but he didn't.
