Is this not one as spotted by Banshee this morning.

Which of the fifty BXs is it for?

Apparently the first step is admitting that you've got a problem! :D

I must say i've noticed a lot of recent comments leaning towards criticising Richards collection of motors... whether in jest or not.

I know it's an age old subject, but least someone's shelling out the cash and a not insignificant quantity of effort.

I'm just glad they're not being turned into bean tins...

Go on, shoot me down...!

No, that other member was criticised for something completely different...

I could give a list of several examples recently but figure it's just easier to point out i'm glad somone's saving them rather than them going to the crusher...

Give credit where it's due! Richard has bought and recovered many cars that most of us, self included wouldn't have touched with a barge pole. So on that, he deserves to get a good-un from time to time that he can sell on and make a bob or two. :)

Yes he certainly can't be acused of profiteering as BX's just don't fetch enough money so traveling costs alone are hard to cover.

How about we cannonise him? Saint Richard of the holy BX?

Didn't that Indian 'guru' Osho have 95 Rolls Royces as a statement against 'consumerism.' Why not 95 BXs?

I remember when I was growing up in the stone ages that there were maybe 10 cars down the road where my parents live - now everyone's got at least 3 each. I don't believe that anyone can physically 'save' more than one old motor at a time the rest is just a form of obsession of which we all - to varying degrees - have become victims. Heaven knows I don't need 3 BXs when I can barely keep one running and legal!

I can't see there's anything wrong with buying cars, doing work on them and then selling them on. In the past I've taken on quite a few (mainly when you actually had to pay the scrappy to collect) for a small amount, done the work, given them an MOT and sold them on.

Some I've made a profit on, some I've lost out (thinking back to a particular 205, I'm quite embarrassed by the MOT failures I missed!) - that was the chance I took. I'm not going to knock a guy for his hobby/obsession( ) if he isn't causing harm to others!

Nope - never noticed that Jay - but then I do tend to ignore irrelevant stuff anyway
Is that a front one or rear?
It says 'rear' on the box if that helps :D
