Rear panel anyone?
I know this is a long shot, but does anyone have, and is willing to sell, (or know of a source who is willing to sell) a rear panel with square box section?
Have just scraped through the MOT, but it will be our last without major surgery.
Tim - you've seen the pics, any ideas/suggestions please.

Thanks Tim, but the part is no longer available, and like Matt said - they are all going in the same places now, so all BXers need them.
Chris - thanks for your comments re photos , and yes, Mr Moss @ Chevronics (sorry to keep name- dropping) said last evening that he was surprised that we got an MOT considering the state of the chassis leg - and Yes both sides are as bad.
But Daisy and I now have 12 months tax and MOT, and I propose to enjoy our last year together and cover as many miles as possible, and then seek out another BX (no-7 - high spec this time- time for a mid-life crisis )

I wouldn't necessarily wait 12 months given the state of the metal. But just for future reference; can we have the contact details for the tester? (I can't find them on the RNIB website lol!)...
So you going for TZD Turbo magic next?

well, if you REALLY want to keep Daisy longterm and can find a way of getting her to Stroud, and leaving it there until such times as I've finished it, then I'm sure something copuld be done, but it would be weekend ork only (job and wotnot) so I'd probably need the car for a month really.
Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!
Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...

rear panel anyone
hello
This is a long shot if you get desperate for that part!
Buried within the parts section of the workshop I have lots of body panels for varied Citroens, they are bits like the only one I've positively id'd so far a ZX top half rear panel - estate, and I think there might be BX panels in there some where, there a jumble of a long bits of diferent shapes of metal, all with part numbers on (I think they are original bits, they have been lurking about for ages), that are now out of date and cant be traced by Citroen - my usual tactic when faced with bits like this where I have no idea whats it from.
If you are ever down Kent way feel free to pop in and have a look to see if you can find within the pile the part you are after
Im in China at the sec so cant look myself im afraid but mean to have a sort through when im back at the end of april
failing that, we do also have two scrap BX's you are welcome to bring the angle grinder too, im not sure how much my dad would want for that part, but he tends to be cheap if its bits you take off your self
thanks

If you could post the part numbers, I might be able to identify some of them - I've got various old Citroen parts books and also old French price guides for car breakers, which have lots of useful part numbers.

Rear panel anyone
As soon as Im back in the uk, at the very end of April, I will start to dig out and the parts numbers off them, it will be great to know what they are!
Should any one want a look before then they can, just let me know through here before hand and I will let them know back at the workshop.
thanks
Remy
