Originally they had ball bearings in one leg of each strut return with the theory that a pumping action of the waste fluid would be created when the struts operated normally for suspension action.
New replacements for strut returns no longer have this ball bearing valve fitted because presumably the theory did not work so well in practice and it worked no worse without them.
I'm not sure about the ball valve near the LHM tank whether thats another valve that it would work without ok or whether it serves a vital purpose. I expect someone else will be along shortly to answer this one.
I'd be interested in the passenger sun visor and the windscreen wiper stalk. Also, what rear lights does it have? They don't happen to be gray smoked do they? One of mine got replaced with a green one in the past and I'm looking to make them match...
