'K' Reg. TXD Turbo Hatchback (Red)

Right chaps,

This is not a spot (So I'm putting this in the For Sale section) all though it's actually going to Auction !

I know of a Red TXD Turbo hatch-back (Which was my friends father/mother in-laws) which got P/X'd @ a car supermarket recently

It's just had the two front spheres and accumulator re-pressurised, it's also been MOT'd approx. a month ago too but the road tax got cashed in (By my friends mother in-law) it's done approx. 170k there's a few usual/minor knocks/scrapes but goes extremely well according to my friend.

I was prepared to take photos and host it for them on the forum so as to get a fair price but unfortunately he could not be bothered to deal with 'another's' and they only got £100 P/X for it

(They would have got more if they just weighed it in) !

So after much dialogue with the current custodians of the BX to sell it as a 'Sold as seen/trade car' but unfortunately it was a big NO !

Therefore it will be going to auction maybe for this week on Wednesday (Its somewhere in the East Midlands) but once its left the car/supermarket its best to check with the actual auctioneers of the actual cars sale date !

I've asked the sales chap @ the car supermarket if the paint is dull/pink with it being Red (As I not seen the car for a good number of years), but he told me it's still fairly shiny so it must have been garaged or under a carport !

So there you have it, send me a PM if you want to know which car auction/site it's going to (As I do know which one) !

Hopefully it should go for no more than £200 but there's the extra that Auction house charge for indemnity etc, to take into consideration !

Hi Paul, I received your PM's (Three off) I've sent you a PM back with ALL the information and my recommendation of the BESTWAY to hopefully view it (If it's not gone off to auction yet) and the method of securing at auction if you want to pursue this one !

GETTING IT DELIVERED TO MY HOUSE.
IT HAS MICHILN ENERGY SAVING TRYES. HALF A TANK OF FUEL. 60 WATT SPEAKERS IN THE BACK. MOT TILL JAN 31st 2012 THE ENGINE SOUNDED GOOD AND WENT UP AND DOWN FAST.

, but shouldn't that be the pistons inside the engine?

it needs a very good polish up it does. Inside is superb, You can tell its been look after. All the windows have the same reg sticker. Just some rust patch on the passenger back arch. Needs sorting out before it gets worst. The door gets a bit stuck on that side. And there s a little bit of rust. On each side on the frount windscreen pillor. But if it passed its mot 3 months ago. Cant be all that bad.
I need to take some photos when i get it. The engine looks a bit differnt to mine. Mabye its becase its a newer modle. Or if its a lucas pump

And my black one is a bosch pump.
