I bought my yellow break off a guy whose two favourite tools were a can of silver spray ( makes everything new innit?) and a can of WD40. Perhaps a spray could be invented that combines the two?

Anyway, it needed a lot of work but anything sub €500 in my opinion is in the bottom feeder bracket. I think one can't expect much for 300 sheets!

Hopefully the next buyer can deal with the minor fibre glass repair, which curiously isn't mentioned in his ad!

I think typos can be funny though I hadn't considered MX to be XM - I thought that pic was funny and I was swimming in hops at the time anyway..

Todd,

I have just come back from a work trip to Halle (near Leipzig) and can comment on the hops.

Don't recall the name of the beer but it was white like Hoegarden and was the strength of rocket fuel :shock:

By the end of the evening I was sure I was fluent in German :lol:

Sounds like a Weißbier / Weizenbier - white beer/wheat beer. Perhaps it was Paulaner? The Bavarians are famous for these beers. But there are many local breweries in Germany.

jacksun1987 wrote:Well i wish you luck on the sale. i just hope the new owner can do more About the bodge job. It was that or spending more mony on the car. You should have seen it before. You could see though the floor. Fiberglass is pretty strong. I think you would peobily get 300 to 350 on it. Max 400. I Spent all of that time and mony on it. I had to give up in the end. I still blame MEDWAY I suppose i saved it. But just needs a bit more doing to it.
So you knew all about the bad rust issues and bodge job but failed to mention this when you where selling it with ''good body work'' Paul??
Shame on you !=!!

Well it is good body work. Compered on other cars that ages. Itss been waxed oiled. Did everything possible to keep it looking good. It was iether looking at fiberglass with p38 on it. Then waxed oil over it. or a hole. Which one would you perfer?

I think with your red one Paul, its rather faded in places then shiny in others which makes it look patchy, a damn good machine polish would make a big difference.
