BX ESTATE DIESEL (NOW SOLD)

Post by tzd »

Well Guys that's it it's on auto trader Until Thursday when we have to declare it S.O.R.N. Since none of you who expressed an interest have got back to me. It seems ironic that a car I have just used to do a 632 mile round trip fully loaded on three quarters of a £90 tank full can't raise any interest at £225.
Hi Guys,
With regret I am selling my BX 19 TXD Estate as next month I will have to reinsure it and I can't afford the insurance on 2 BX'S. it is an L reg and in fair condition for it's age.
we would like close to £300 o.n.o. as the car has 4 months tax which is £75.00, making the car £225.
It has done 208649 miles and has excellent fuel consumption.
It was first registered on 24/9/1993.
I bought it from a man in Bolton in 2004 and it has served me well ever since.
It has had 7 former keepers.
All paper work is in order, I do have the V5 for the vehicle and all chassis and engine numbers match up.
Taxed until September 30Th.
M.O.T. Jan 9Th 2012
New Valeo radiator last year
New Centre exhaust pipe.
last cam belt at 171,000 miles.
All tyres are good.
both rear arm bearings have been replaced within the past 3 years.
All filters and fluids were changed just before the winter arrived.
all electrics are working.
Tidy interior.
New gas struts for the tailgate.
all headrests and seatbelts are in good condition.
Now for the bad bits,
The lacquer is peeling in places on the roof but it is not rusting.
There is a knock from the drivers side front I think it is a bottom wish bone bush.
There is a small dent in the passenger rear door where the car has been scraped (before we got it) there is no rust in the dent.
There is a small dent on the sill where the car has slipped off a jack whilst having it's tyre changed I think, (before we owned it) it has never been mentioned on any of it's M.O.T's.

I would like for this car to go to a BX Club member as I know that it will be looked after and maintained properly. I will be advertising this car after 2 weeks on Auto trader this is to give people here a chance to buy the car first.
We are in New Brighton CH45 at the end of the m53.

If you need any more information or photos please P.M. me and I will do my best to post photos and answer questions.

bx for sale

Post by tzd »

Hi Everybody,
I know I said that I would leave the BX on this site for 2 weeks but my circumstances have changed and I really need to get rid of this car, therefore, I will be advertising the car in auto trader as from this Friday at £350 o.n.o.
Anybody interested then message me before then.

Cheers TZD.

BX ESTATE FOR SALE

Post by tzd »

Hello All,
Ok this Bx of mine must go by tomorrow or it will be getting scrapped even though it is a good car. My insurance runs out tomorrow and I can't re-insure it so the price has been reduced to £300 as this includes 4 months insurance which in itself comes to £75.00 making the car £225.
Please buy this car and save it.

Call me and make me an offer. 0783 393 0001.
It isn't just a car it is a BX and it's my BX. Long live the BX.

Not before time, I can't believe such a nice example struggled selling, it would appear ebay is the place to sell. The green estate that needed a sunstantial front end repair fetched as much as yours which was ready to go.
