St Tropez wheel

Post by Des Smith »

I've been prepping the BX for our French adventure next month and the spare wheel has been getting some close attention. Took it to the tyre man and it is slightly dished. Presumably a previous owner hit the kerb and swapped it with the original spare. Anyway, I am on the lookout for another steel wheel to match. The existing one will work as a spare for the time being but I am always a bit twitchy when I know something is not quite right.

Any ideas?

Well, your local breaker will have a wheel I'm sure as it's a common size. A lot of Fords and Pugs share the dimensions. PCD 4 x 108, 15-22 ET with a 65mm central hole. 14" of course.

Thanks Phil. I did wonder how generic it was. The existing one however, was nearer 13.9 inches with the flat spot!! I will ask around.
