Agreed - I've had various ones of these. Some were ok, some were utter rubbish – when I took them apart they didn't actually have proper CV joints, just a glorified Hardy-Spicer type joint.

I've used shafts from my old petrol TRS in the TD with no problems at all - a good genuine Petrol/NA diesel shaft may well be slightly weaker than a similar TD/GT shaft, but it'll still be better than a cheap replacement.

Just in from the garage, does anyone want a brand new boxed offside driveshaft bearing, I had a spell of replacing them a while back and stocked up. £10 via paypal and I can pop it in the post,
I also have a couple of used but serviceable TZD outer CV joints (ABS Type)
There is still a mound of BX stuff here. must make a definitive list.
