Citroen BX for sale

Hi - I don't know if this the right forum or not but I have a Citroen BX that will be coming up for sale within the next two months or so. It is a 1.6 automatic, reg J535TJM, petrol engine. It was my parents' second car and has mainly been been used for odd motorway trips, so it currently has just over 24,000 miles on the clock (believe or not!) and its bodywork is immaculate. I would like to sell it to someone who will love it and use it (rather than strip it down for spares or scrap it), as I assume that it is probably quite rare for a car of this vintage and condition to come up for sale.

Can anyone tell if there is a suitable website or forum where I can advertise it? Thanks

You're here! You could also use Gumtree, Carandclassic.co.uk or even ebay (if you're feeling brave).

You will need to supply some pictures and a guide price though, we all like a good reccy at BX photos! Best way to upload photos is via photobucket (need an online account, it's free though).

Sounds very nice so far, perhaps a contender for lowest known mileage??

Welcome to the BX Club, as Tom says a good place to start is the sites like www.carandclassic.com or ebay etc.

Price and pictures is a must.

Any idea of asking price? And does it have PAS? Any significant known faults? And how soon can it be ready for sale?

Immaculate 16 petrol auto with 24k on the clock!? I think you might be in the right place if you're trying to shift it. Pics, price and history a must though (as stated) but sounds very nice.

Regarding the date that it should be coming up for sale: at the moment, probably the end of May or beginning of June. I won't bore you with the details but we are buying another car but we probably can't get it until the end of May. However, once we have the new car, Cindy is up for grabs, although the mileage will probably be higher by then (maybe 25K!)

Still has the valve covers on the trims and a full set of contour mudflaps! Should get any 'TG' fans twitchin' - it did me!

according to how many left there are no surviving 16TGS autos
apart from 2 meteors unless the entry for normal TGS's includes autos
