Water pipes Wanted

Hi, While changing the sub frame on my 17 TZD Turbo, i have found a small water leak and also another hose with some damage.

Does anyone have, or know the best source for the two water pipes that connect to the fixing where the oil filter is mounted? One goes to what looks like the thermostat housing and the other goes into the side of the rad.

I'm also after the hose to the rad myself, as that's one of only two original hoses on the car. No sign of a leak yet, but for peace of mind I'd like to change it if I can get it at a bargain price.

Hi Simon,
I take it the hoses your referring to are #3 & #6 (below) ,
but #6 possibly maybe of a different design (Part no.) if your TZD has the later fuel filter housing

When Malcolm sees this post hopefully he maybe able to confirm ?

Thanks Richard, yes 3 & 6 are the two I need.

I replaced both those recently as they weren't looking clever - they're still available - got one from eBay and one from the local dealer IIRC...

this looks like one of them... no 6. in the image above...

Was it no.3 you got from the dealer and if so how much? I might bite the bullet and pay full whack if none crop up on eBay, before they become NLA. But my local dealer isn't the most knowledgeable/helpful without a part number...

Just checked - got it from AEP in some panic hose buying before going on holiday last year - part no. 96015636, £23.35 +VAT

It's now been SOLD for the BIN of £7.97 + £2.00 p/p and has been RE-LISTED for £11.99 + £2.00 p/p

That's inflation for you 33.53% and today on the news it stated 'inflation was down by 0.5% but running still @ 3%'

But you have an option to make an offer on this listing this time round, so I'd offer them £7.97 the same as the first listing !

Seems investing in sort-after, 'NOS' BX parts is better than money in the bank

Well I got it, but initially could only get 49p off the new price, but got it for £11 in the end... needs must, I have the car in bits and need to get it all back together (while working on the sub frame I found a lot of other problems, and since it was already in many bits, it was a good time to do all I could...)
