Wanted - Washer bar

Post by Wooscary »

Hello

Mine is currently made up of a long length of some bright blue heatshrink.

Not very good. For some reason, try as I might, can't find some suitable black
tubing.

Has anyone got a proper set up, or a lead for where I might get some suitable tubing?

Cheers

That's a good idea!

Something such as: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SIP-Mini-Mig- ... _676wt_955?

Looks pretty thin, but might work.

Malcom Lockwood had two for sale at Wetherby. Not sure if anyone bought them. IIRC they are still available from main dealers. Got mine from AEP direct.

Tim, that's very kind. If it'll do the job, name your price! Always a fan of reuse if possible. Cheers.

I know this case is closed now but I remember that ole David Rutherfold used to remove the spray bar from some Peugeot model (405?) to fit on his BXs as it was a more solid rubber thing. Anyone confirm this or actually done it?

I've heard that too, but then 405s seem nearly as rare as BXs round here so not sure on wide spread availability?
