I really would like your car . I'm just weighing up whether i can afford it at the moment.(tax bill due end of july) It would be ideal for me being in liverpool also.
A word of caution with the c5! don't touch the later ones with the 1600hdi, you'll regret it! on paper it's a fantastic engine but it has well documented problems with the turbo.

The rather long oil service intervals are to blame, stick to doing them twice as regularly as citroen recommends & the turbo will be fine. These engines are fitted to a number of different cars & all have the same turbo blowing up issue. And all solved by changing the oil more regurlarly regardless of what the manufacturer says inc the crap advice about the oil being long life etc. etc..... Shame that engine has such a bad rep as its great on road tax & is economical.

The C5 I have bought is the 2.0 HDI 110bhp. It goes like s**t off a shovel, and the engine turbo problems have been widely reported with the smaller engine sizes due to over revving. If you buy a diesel get a bigger one and it will last longer.
It isn't just a car it is a BX and it's my BX. Long live the BX.
Hi Everybody,
I am sorry but I have had to put the car on autotrader, (the advert will become live within the next three hours). I said in my original advert that I needed to get rid of this car in the next week, owing to the insurance situation. I have had some response but I need certainties and not maybe's, and definately not unanswered phone calls, texts, and p.m's.
If you want to buy the car, look at the Auto trader website, I have raised the asking price, as I have now taken action, and will be having the alternator refurbished tomorrow in Liverpool. First come will probably buy !

I cant beleive noone is snapping up this car, ive had a similar issue selling cars on before, all good intentions but very little in the way of action, down possibly to the fact we all have at least one BX already (or four).
I cant see the car on autotrader so if you mention what the new price is please.
I've thought about doing that Tim, but I want to be certain to be rid of the car this week ! if this selling saga runs into next week and my insurance is transferred then not only do I have to find a place where it is off the street but I also have to (by law) send the tax disc back, and declare the car S.O.R.N. which makes it a lot more difficult for somebody to test drive the car, and ultimately for me to sell it.

If it were me I would remove the £395 at the bottom of the advert, as its confusing. Youve done it as an online auction NOT a classified ad so people will think the starting price is £395 and may put them off.
If it were me I would rejig the advert, starting bid at £1 and set a reserve at £395.00, trust me its a proven formula and may get you more than you originally asked for.
I would also shorten the listing from 7 days to 3 so it finished at the weekend which is more likely when people will be online and may help you out regarding insurance etc.
Tim, you should get a job as a car salesmen....oh!
