I have a set of Silver 5.5J x 14 (GTi 4x4/Hurricane) wheels in lovely condition that were repainted a couple of years ago, 3 tyres (185/60R14) were new old stock at the time of fitment (2 Pirelli and 1 Michelin MXV) and one was a part worn MXV to match the other, the new tyres have less than 1500 miles, the part worn which probably had 4mm of tread has a very slow puncture.
There is also a useable 5th wheel (same size and colour) to use as a spare plus 16 wheel bolts.
They are/were fitted to my Blue 16TRS so you may have seen them, there is some slight corrison inside the wheel bolt holes but unless you get close you cant tell.

when I wanted some speedlines they were less common than rocking horse droppings and round tuits, nowadays everyone has some speedlines for sale

Quite interested in these but do you remember when you got then balanced if any were ovular or dented?
Can't really tell by eye. It's quite common .

They are undented and were balanced when I had them repainted, in the interest of fairness Peter (bigmaclf) has first dibs, failing that Andrew (TizzyD) is next in line sorry.

No problem - always worth checking though. The 4 'restored' ones I bought here a while ago looked great but two had big, obvious dents when balancing... Ive bought a set of graphite speedlines of Jayboy for the 16TRS, which after seeing the Autrailian 19TZi in olmpic with some on I thought it looked awesome. The proceeds from the sale of these will go towards getting them refurbished and some tyres, but yes funds are somewhat depleated after the DTR resto.MULLEY wrote:Why would you want to sell those, are you struggling for funds mate?
