Hi all, I'm after a rear bumper for a mk1, preferably one with the large bumper mouldings. The GT's one is cracked in the corner and getting it off involved grinding the heads off the screws holding it on, so there's a bit of melting damage around it too.
Colour not important - I'm going to have to paint them anyway.
Cheers

Re: WANTED: Mk1 rear bumper for GT
Hi Kitch
The GT bumper mouldings are held on by 8mm bolts so are easily transferable.
There was a guy with a NEW rear one adevrtised on here not long ago?
Im sure RXBX will be able to point you in the right direction.
As you know ive just has the bumpers painted on the DTR which i think is the same colour as your Dads GT, (romantic blue), the colour code I will find out for you if you dont have it.
Cheers

Hi Kitch
The colour code is FYG, which is a mat finish, you could lacquer them though, I wish I had as there a couple of chips already.

Tim, if its the one that davidb had available (which was promised to you) then supposedly got sold to someone else but then the deal fell thro' ?
If so, it would be THIS one, note that Davids E-Mail address is on page 6/6 of the thread !
That's all I can help you with Kitch, if its of any use to you (As Tim had my last MK1 rear bumper for his latest DTR) !
