I am potentially very interested as I won't be keeping the Peugeot. I said my next BX would probably be a GTi...

Trouble is, I'm in France at the moment (back on the 26th), so Tim can you please do me a favour and find out as much as you can about it and as long as it's usable and relaible for the short term I'm up for giving it a home. PM me the details and I'll try to not mess anyone about; I'll give a decision quickly.

Apparently this is an E plate car (rare now), with 212k miles on the clock but is a bit crusty on the rear end and has a FDV weep

i've seen this car a couple of times driving around!
its very local to me!! i'd be happy to view it for anyone interested (although i'll be at the stratford rally this weekend) and if helps, could keep it at my place for a few weeks from next weekend, it neds saving!

seen the car today! and for £200 you have a viable car!! the shell appears pretty solid,had a small patch welded in the front door piller some time ago,drivers side is good,around the rear door shuts are all good,there are some rust scabs around which have been treated,she's on an F reg,interior is ok, but drivers seat has been replaced with a zx seat! rear tyres and spheres replaced within last 5000 miles, fronts good, suspension soft, suspect leak from rad!
overal, a great car for someone to tinker with , would say its too good for break,mot is till november, tax it and drive her away!!

Looks like a bargain to me, particularly if someone has the skills/a pet person to sort out the inevitable issues associated with a 25/26 year old car. Hope someone saves it.
