Not needed when it's parked in a workshop :P

I think those drips are water that was trapped in there prior to me opening it....it was the first time I had!

I think its time to be creative as I don't believe these are available any more. They all seem to rust away on petrol cars. I have got mine completely covered in sealant to keep it going longer. It had rusted through and I was getting water in the tank which gave me kangaroo petrol while on the BXagon.
There was talk once of the Blingo filler being modable.

Normally diesel Ones last ok as the oil seems to protect them better.

I don't think its anything to do with the type of fuel being used, my money is on the fact that with a petrol you'll be opening the fuel cap up to the elements approx twice as many times as a diesel because of crap fuel economy, hence more wear & tear. So theres an incentive to get a diesel, less wear & tear, haha....but in all seriousness, can't a diesel one be fitted instead?

Afaik, the cars sharing the same filler are 16v, TZD turbo and GTI.

My TGD turbo didn't have the additional tank and i suspect the TXD turbo doesn't either.

The 16v has a unique replacement filler neck and is not the same as the TZD/GTi. It has a smaller hole and a flap . . . presumably to make sure only the right sort of nozzle goes in. Therefore (and more for reference than anything) you can put a diesel/gti upper filler neck onto a valver, but you can't put a valver replacement neck on a diesel!

Last time i looked, i got the impression one of the C15 filler necks was very similar to the BX one, might be worth looking in Service Citroen.
