Cant belive you are going to sell this Mick?

It goes, it looks good and is an eyecatcher.

If you are only going to do low miles in her, 250 a week, and keep a classic to be on the road then i feel you need to think a bit harder about selling it.
Ide keep her if i were you.

A sad but happy day at Highbury towers today,

Adam came up from Essex to collect the car.

Its nice to know that its going to someone who seriously loves BX's .
The plan is he is going to get the bodywork sorted early next year so hopefully it will be at a few shows.

I have told him to use the skills knowledge and friendship of all you guys on BXC so I am sure you will be hearing from him in the very near future.
(I have never seen someone get so excited about remote cantral locking

)

I hope the car serves him as well as it has served me (and that he quickly gets used to its hot starting method

)

Hi mick

Made it home !!!

All good and really happy !!!

The car is a little lumpy when accelerating could that be the carb , between rev 3000 to 4000 .

I have got used to the warm start and seems no problems when cruising at 70 plus

Hi Adam, glad the journey home went well,when you say lumpy do you mean a hesitation ? If so yes I think the mixture may still be a little rich.
It's most likely the carb as The plugs are only about 6 months old and the leads only a month or two old,
Plugs may benefit from a clean as they could be a little sooty
