Thanks to Tim I now have a replacement o/s wing mirror :D . Thanks to some little shits who find it amusing to vandalised and steal my property I now need a replacement n/s wing mirror . I have reported it to the police but if anyone has spare CCTV, bobby traps or tame "heavies" that they don't need right now give me a call!

Sincerely,

I'll check my stock tomorrow Tim when I can see what I've got in my shed, as I'm not sure what sides or manufacturer they may be ?

'Britax' are the normal ones fitted as O/E equipment but I've found a new 'Lucas' O/S (Which is nots what needed now for Merlyn) but heres the E-BAY link if some else is looking for one ?

However IMHO they are of a inferior quality being manufactured from a 'Thermo-setting' plastic rather than the 'Britax' ones which are manufactured from a 'Thermo-hardening' plastic !

Probably best to fit "inferior quality" until the local chavs find someone else to pick on!

Indeed, if they want to break it off they will no matter what make it is.

I've found two new ones on E-bay which one is a LUCAS which costs £7.95 delivered and the OTHER-ONE which costs £8.45 if your preference is for a new one ?

I've not even looked (I did state I'd check tomorrow) or haven't you noticed it's dark out side now or perhaps you forgot to put your clocks back ?

But if I do have anything it won't be new, that's why I posted/asked the question of preference ?

Commiserations. I stopped the same thing happening to my car about 10 years ago when I was just settling down to sleep (I had just had a night out in Sheffield when I was a student) in the back of it - I heard them coming down the street and saw them breaking off an aerial and mirrors. When they got close to mine I leapt out and shouted at them. They appeared to be somewhat surprised to be accosted and chased by a semi-naked bloke...

If you were closer I'd volunteer to kip in the back seat and catch the bastards red handed

Mat I considered sitting in the car for a few hours myself but figured they'd probably see me. I have a fair idea who it is that has done it but I can't prove anything (unless they can fingerprint the n/s mirror, there are some good ones on the glass). The first time it happened I thought maybe it was just random but twice in 3 days and every other car on the street intact? I reckon it's the same kids who bullied my son at school and broke my window last winter with snowballs. I hope the either grow up soon or get locked up.

Come and park outside my house, nothing ever happens here! :D

Shitty situation, hope it resolves itself soon.

Not spare, but for £50 or less you could have a pretty potent CCTV system there, probably need the car to be in a well lit area though!
