Wanted: Bosch VE pump
Anyone happen to have a known good Bosch VE pump suitable for a XUD7TE they are willing to part with for cash / bits / sexual favours?
Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!

Jay, both Smiffy and I have rotodiesel pumps, but for Phoenix it HAS to be a Bosch pump.

There is one on the 17RD that I am selling, "see thread further down" but at the moment I would like it to go as a complete car if possible.

I do sort of. It's complicated sweetie. Got all new seals but I lost all the settings.......
I did the same with my 1.9 pump and got it sorted in the end but it'll take some fidling, patience and lots of black smoke. Happy to help with setting up - I know my way around the pumps well now so shouldn't be too bad.
The timing advance capsule is fubar though......
You 'could' fit a 1.9 pump mate with matching injectors, 20 bar higher injection pressure and it makes a subtle but useable difference!

Thanks guys. I'm still trying to ascertain what pump / injector setup is actually on it now! I've changed it so many times I cant keep up! I think it already has a 19TD pump on it with the electric advance.. I think... I should go look at the car really..

It works both ways matey, time seems every increasingly short - I blame the missus, the house and the kids.....that leaves me completely exonerated! Maybe an event/meet old chap?
Get a 1.9td pump if you ain't already dude but let me know if you need the 1.7td pump.

I dont have the kids and missus as an excuse, but yeah, I know what you mean mate!
Cant remember the last time I had a day with nothing at all to do but whatever I want... oneday..
It currently has a 19TD pump, so yeah, I'll try and find another one, saves buggering about with injectors and such...
