New Airfilter Intake Hoses.

Post by Citroening »

Morning All,

I thought that I would post this up as it might be of interest to some of you.

As you may have seen in this thread, the intake hoses are prone to collapsing, discolouring and the foam disintegrating through age. Also, they are no longer available through Service Citroen.

By chance I might have found a small supply of these through my supplier and have managed to get my hands on one at the moment.

Here's a picture with new and old for comparison - obviously the new one is straight until fitted when you'll bend it and it'll take shape.

I do not know how many my supplier has got, and one party has first dibs on a couple of them at the moment.

If you're interested it'll have to be on a first come first served basis due to not currently knowing the total quantities available.

Price-wise, they are £30 per pipe plus £5 postage. If you would like more than one then just one postage fee.

If you're interested then post or PM.

Thanks!

Franklin, I don't suppose your 'supplier' does tailblazers, rear cubbyhole covers and/or front armrests? :-D

Unfortunately not, Mark... :(

Regarding these airfilter intake hoses there's been a fair amount of interest. Hopefully I'll be able to sort the majority of you out with one as per PMs.

Just thought I'd update this thread in that I have, luckily, managed to sort out all of the interested parties with pipes - I've sent you details as per PMs, thanks.

I'm not sure if there's any more available, however if you are interested in one then let me know and I can put you down on the list in case some more come up.

Thanks!

I'd be interested in a new one too! Missed the thread, a nuisance as the one on my GT is knackered.

Rightio folks, I've emailed/PMd all current interested parties who have expressed an interest in one of these new pipes. I've not heard back from all of you yet however I've managed to get hold of some more pipes. If anyone else is interested, let me know.

Just to let you know that I will be listing one on eBay for people not in the BXClub/CCC in the near future. It will be advertised at a higher price than on here, although members can still buy for original price if interested. Discount to help out for club members of course...

Once again, it will be on a first come first served basis.

Thanks.
