X RALLY SWOPSHOP

Post by Tim Leech »

I have a few parts to bring to the X Rally for a few people, I will be in the 16TRS I expect, I shall be going over to my lock up this weekend to rummage, is there anything anyones after in particular?

I have a set of alloy wheels and dog guard for Mothman and he has some wheel trims for me.

A set of new rubbing strips for Gary

I have a BRAND NEW twin electrics towbar (with ball and fixings) for a hatch which I doubt I will ever use which I can bring if someone interested.

I will be briging som dash bulbs as well to fit whilst I am there.

IIRC you'll need about 35 of the little perishers - the glass bit only which makes it a bit cheaper.

I'll try get to this one, can't promise :) I've found a dark grey MK1 glove box lid with a good hinge, not sure if the hinges suffer the same as MK11

I hung on to that and the doors when the car (MK1 xy 1.4 Leader) was written off. A drink drive musician crashed in to it (1995) while it was parked, It was my wifes car, she was having a meal with a few of her work colleagues. "I wasn't speeding" he said but managed to to move three parked cars a good way down the road! "I suppose you're going to call the police" he said to the crowd that had come out of the restaurant.... the reply from the crowd was better "no need, we're already here" His insurance paid 1100 quid to us for it and we bought a MK11 1.4
