I've found a dark grey MK1 glove box lid with a good hinge, not sure if the hinges suffer the same as MK11.

They dont bud,
entirely of different construction. Nothing similar to break.

Right, couple of things I thought I'd bump to the top of my list:

Anyone got a passenger sun visor for a non-sunroof car in grey - I'll take a pair if anyone has them and doesn't want to split. I'm finding 1 visor isn't cutting it on the commute at the moment!

Also, inner trim bits for Mk1 mirrors, plus my passenger mirror is missing the rod that does the adjustment from inside! Again, if anyone has only complete assemblies and don't want to split I'll buy the lot.

Finally, anyone interested in a pair of Mk2 manual door mirrors if I bring them along?

I think i have a sun visor Mick, ile have a look and put it on your list. Too bloody cold to go outside and play in my shed at the moment. Think i only have drivers side MK 1 mirrors though. However if they are in good nick ile have to keep them as ive too many Mk 1s now.

Thanks Andy. The mirrors themselves on mine are fine, it's all the bits that bolt onto the inside of the doors that are missing. I have an idea in my head that if I can't find the correct parts some of it at least could be modified from AX units (the rubber covers over the rod at least looks near identical), but every AX I've found in a scrap yard recently has already been robbed of them.

We've had frosty mornings followed by sunshine the last few days! Today there wasn't a frost, but it's now cloudy outside - still dry though!

Wet weather isn't such a problem for me, as Timex seems to let in more water when parked than when it's being driven!
