not sure which piece you mean here Doc. Is it the one that runs right across with the ends chamfered upwards?
If so it is very easy to fabricate and if you use Zintec, or a slightly thicker mat'l they last forevah

Going for Pluto, Todd!
Phil, effectively it's the entire arse end of the car.. I have a photo somewhere...
Not the dash obviously, the bit behind it! This being the last new I had, which I cant really use, I think Dad would be rather upset if I cut it out of his car!
**WTF has happened to photobucket!? It's all gone mad!

Re: Wanted: Rear Valance for a hatch.
Yeah Yeah! That's the piece. I have fabricated it from 3 pieces. the top bit with all the holes I cut from 1.5 mill and welded washers round the holes.
Cut the btm piece from the outriggers and made a new piece, fitted the 2 in place to make sure it all lined up then joined them with a strip that forms the upstand / shelf between them. Removed it all and stiffened the assembly and welded it inside only. Then painted the thing before re assembling and welding to position.
OK none standard, but it works and is cheap if you can't source one. The 3 I did are still around as far as I know.
I didn't fit a dashboard behind mine though

Chris !
Have you looked @ the NT SHAWS 'BX Parts Clear-out' thread (which I also linked up in the recent Wtd. Rear Quarter Panel thread) ?
As I' notice they may have a couple available (If I've deciphered the list correctly)

ahh, blimey! I hadn't, but ta. Rather more than I paid for a new one from the dealer a few years back, but rarity has it's price! I'll give them a ring!
