It depends on what you're used to I suppose - the St. Tropez is pretty much manual everything except possibly locks isn't it?

Toys don't bother me, but then I find windows that disappear into the door as opposed to sliding or folding a luxury!

Hi Mike

The St Tropez is a 14TE (same as the old E) so has manual locks, windows, one piece folding rear seat, no passenger side interior lamp etc! so the 16TRS will be plush compared to it!
Lots of Motors, mostly semi broken....

He's a wimp then! Nice and simple - no ABS or leccy bits to go on strike. Manual everything and Fred Flintstone holes in the floor in case the engine packs up. If you're worried about WTF going to a good home, think twice about a home by the seaside... salt + onshore breeze = corrosion. I should know. I grew up in Bournemouth and you could watch the cars rust to bits in an afternoon. :^o OK, maybe it took a little longer, but we had a 3-year-old Fiat that failed its first MOT on rust. Tell him to hang on to the St Tropez - If you can't be with the one you love, love the one you're with!!

Mum & Dad bought a brand new Fiat 127 in '83 and that rusted away, despite being pampered and garaged. :?

Fiats from that era just dissolved in the rain anyway. Both our Strada's turned to piles of rust.

Much as I love the St Tropez, I really think the differential between this one and WTF should be more than 300 quid? He obviously wants the attention that driving a BX can bring, but appreciates the mod cons that the St Tropez lacks. The power steering is a big one and really will limit his potential buyers. If he's only got room for one car, he's going to have to shift the St Tropez before he can do a deal for WTF. I'm sure that if Tim is happy with buyer, then he'll be prepared to wait, but given that WTF is such a desirable car, I'm equally sure there will be other incentivised buyers.

I suspect Fiat and Lancia used the same dodgy Russian steel supplier. I think he was called Mikhail and he sold low carbon steel out of the back of his ZiL!!

Back on topic. Tim, I hope you have a smooth sale. :)

Des, it doesn't come across to me like that if you read Tims quote below !
