Two screws from the overhead console and two from the sun visor mounts. Drop the aforementioned console and remove said aerial mounting nut. Job done. :) I think. [-o<

Not mine dearie, just the dash bulbs, which was far more complicated and I was most grateful :D

I only had to replace the plastic bit that sits on the roof though (which was the bit I assumed was being referred to, being in the picture and all) not the rubber bit it screws into.

I replaced mine a while ago with one from eBay, item no. = 400191959580. Its not 100% the same shape but it does the job for a reasonable price.

It got damaged while digging out my GTi......

Peugeot 406 has a similar part, just the rod is shorter.

I have one of the above available if Jane doesn't want it.

Isnt the confusion about 2 things:

1) Just replacing the ariel, which just screws in :)
2) The ariel base, which requires the removal of the motor etc

So which job do you need doing Paul?
