L reg 19TXD Estate In london.

Post by Tim Leech »

It's a silver L reg 1.9 diesel estate, I'll have to check the mileage but its done about 105,000 miles.

The body is rough (needs a passenger side rear door replacing for starters) but clean of rust.

The interior seats are in good condition as is the cabin.

The main fault with the car is the cooling system, which has major leaks under the car.

It is parked off street but still has a few weeks of tax and mot left on it.

£200 ono.

Any takers?

Where in London is it? I am trying to get my bud to buy a BX. He should have gone for the Hurricane but wants an Estate, whinging about turbos etc. Means I will be screwing it together but I owe him quite a few favours. We have a transport issue as all tow cars are currently dead! A shagged driver we might manage. However I never buy cars from Essex - its a old trade thing.

Well being a qualified carrot cruncher I consider London to be inside the M25, should be a wall, search lights, dogs, minefields etc to keep them in. So on that basis some of Essex is in London.

Anyway it sounds like I might be getting offered a half dead 1.9 Estate from Bristol.

In the not too distant past a BX was a rare car especially around Dagenham and Romford where a make beginning with F predominated. It's got funny suspension ain't it! I don't recall seeing 16 valvers (BX ones at least) along the Southend promenade!.

Looks like it may have changed, maybe for BX read TOWIE....
