Wanted Gear linkage

I am in need of a gear linkage for a Citroen BX 16V. The gear leaver end with the cup. Dose anybody have one they'd be willing to sell me ? Or know where i could get one thanks

I believe the linkage rods are still available from Citroen. Someone (Tim Leech I think) said that some are due in the UK next month. Hopefully there are not too many variants, but if you have a BE3 box or BE1 you my be OK.
When one of mine 'detached' itself, I was temporarily caught out but just popped it back on and it took a couple of months before it let go again. Then I got a new one, much better. Quite tricky things to retain if sloppy but a bit of bodging with tape and cable ties should do it temporarily.

Yeah ive sorted it for the time been cable ties and thanks for that Il try and get one next month

I replaced the ones on my CX with rose joints on Aluminium rods

No vibration and the gear change is oooo soooo not CX, it's very slick and positive

I did the lever too, scrapping the nylon cups and ball that wears.

Looks like an excellent piece of work Neil. I've sadly never had the luxury of driving a cx, but it looks a great solution.

I haven't driven mine since the ICCR last year

Had to slum it in the Xantia which... took a while to get used to after the BX. When my Mam's garage is finished I'll start to recommission my Dad's 1987 GTI it's been stood about 12 years.
