It is a Lucas which has packed in.I 'm wondenng if anyone has any knowledge on whether something from say zx or xantia 1.9 turbo diesel would do the job?

I've got a spare Bosch one with pipes, injectors etc....
Xantia TD (and 405 TD) is the same type of pump, and I'm sure it woud physically fit, but not sure about differences in delivery/setup.

Are you sure the stop solenoid is working or it's getting 12v to it?

I wish it was just the stop solenoid but that was my first place to look-even removed the plunger.The pump has definitely packed in.
