Preferably from a 19 engine, but would consider one from a 17 as it would be a step in the right direction. It seems I may have a TD cam in Timex!

Alternatively, can anyone advise on a supplier?

I have one available Mike.
I wont be in the country though until Feb 2014 if you can wait that long.
The Joy of BX with just one Citroën BX to my name now. Will I sing Bye Bye to my GTI or will it be Till death us do part.

What would the na cam do differently to your engine?

Different torque curve I would imagine. More power lower down as it had the blower to help along.
Lots of Motors, mostly semi broken....

Yep - the dip in both power and torque with Timex roughly coincides with when the turbo would have started to kick in, probably in an effort to reduce the turbo lag. I have a printout that I will try to post up which compares Timex to The Estate - Timex, with it's earlier square port head, should have a power curve (and torque curve I assume) just below those of The Estate, but up to 2500rpm it was actually above on both, before it all went wrong!
