Hi I am open to offers, as I said I saw an engine on ebay for £200 so as long as the offer is more than the scrapman would give me. If someone would want it they would need to come with a trailer and four wheels as the tyres are rotten and the chassis will drag on the floor.

hi I have had a look at the rust and the boot has massive holes at both rear corners also the passengers side inner wing has a large hole at the headlight end. The mileage is also not correct the car has done nearly 98000ml, I did find the receipt for the new engine, it was bought and fitted by a Citroen specialist (M&M motor engineers in Holmfirth) at a cost of £936.16 plus vat.

If it does get broken, I'd be interested in some bits for my GT - but I sincerely hope it gets saved and cherished by someone!

Boot floor issues are common - have a look through the gallery and you'll see pics of at least a couple of cars that have had major reconstruction here. Front inner problems are common too, although I've only seen one other that's gone immediately behind the headlight.

Like many here, I'm rammed full of vehicles otherwise I'd be tempted - I have a well known habit of rescuing cars like this and (eventually) returning them to the road. I hope it is rescued as opposed to parted

I could be tempted by this bx but too far away for me (400 mile round trip) the costs of coll/del wouls swallow up a big chunk of my budget, personally i wouldnt find welding issues a big deal as i have much experience in this dept with my south coast tzd rust bucket and the recent front end rebuild on the gti, would be sad to see another quite rare bx go for canning. Hopefully someone will save it tho the full extent of rust is somewhat unknown which will put some off.
