To be fair £600 for an as new & complete (?) leather interior although top dollar and expensive in the BX world is cheap compared to complete leather interiors for other cars and I don't blame the OP for trying his hand because someone may well be willing to pay that to make a car concourse etc. If you are bombarded with requests then why not chance your arm at top dollar? The fact it was more than I or others on here are willing to pay doesn't mean there isn't someone out there willing to pay that amount and if the OP hasn't been active in the BX world for a while he may not be aware of the flat and low market values of BX's and parts. Most complete cars are not worth £600 and adding a £600 interior would only up the desirability and not add too much to the value of the car.
Personally my concern if I was buying this would be the true condition of the interior; What will a leather interior that has been stored since the car was 1 year old in a shed now be like? Storing a leather interior isn't straight forward; Each item would need storing separately, if you put one on top of another or anything else on top of them then you will have permanent imprints in the leather, damp plays havoc as does too warm which dry's and cracks the leather. When did the OP last empty his shed to check the condition?
I do agree with others though in saying there is absolutely no need to retort in the way he has just because people are not willing to pay the price he would like. Poor form on that part.
